Perfect pre-bedtime soothing ritual, or a little something to keep you cozy, happy, and warm.
750 ml milk (or mylk) of choice
2 teaspoons ginger juice (see note)
1 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
2 teaspoons honey
Heat milk, ginger juice, turmeric, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom in a small pot over medium-high heat, whisking occasionally. Once the milk reaches a simmer (about 5 minutes), remove from heat and whisk in honey. Pour into a mug, and enjoy while warm.
To make ginger juice, finely grate ginger over a paper towel, and squeeze through.
